The Second Order Draft (SOD) of the Special Report on Renewable Energy Sources and Climate Change Mitigation (SRREN) went out for Government and Expert Review Friday, June 18th, 2010.

The Second Order Draft (SOD) of the Special Report on Renewable Energy Sources and Climate Change Mitigation (SRREN) went out for Government and Expert Review Friday, June 18th, 2010. Experts and Governments will comment on the accuracy and completeness of the scientific/technical/socio-economic content and the overall scientific technical/socio-economic balance of the draft. They have an eight week period to submit comments, which will then be discussed and incorporated during the 4th SRREN Lead Author Meeting (LA4) to be held in Mexico from September 20th-24th, 2010.

Following LA4, the final draft Report will be prepared and submitted for acceptance to the Working Group III Session in the United Arab Emirates, which will take place February 21-23rd, 2011.
