The Technical Support Unit (TSU) of Working Group III of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) coordinates the work of leading experts worldwide on the mitigation of climate change and publishes – both for policymakers and the public – their assessments of the current state of knowledge. Currently, the TSU is coordinating the IPCC 5th Assessment Report (AR5) process which is to be published in 2014. The TSU is based at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) in Potsdam, Germany.
