Fifth Assessment Report

The outlines of the Working Group contributions to the IPCC Fifth Assessment Report (AR5) have been finalized. According to the timetable agreed by the IPCC at its 32st Session in Busan, Republic of Korea, in October 2009, the Working Group III contribution to the AR5, Climate Change 2014: Mitigation of Climate Change, will be released in April 2014.

WGIII AR5

The Fifth Assessment Report (AR5) is an update of knowledge on the scientific, technical and socio-economic aspects of climate change. The report will provide policy makers with policy relevant objective scientific and technical findings.

Procedures

The IPCC's work is guided by a set of principles and clear procedures for all the main activities of the organization. The processes and procedures are constantly being reviewed to ensure that they remain strong, transparent and reliable.
