On the night of Thursday, October 8th, 2009, Wolfram Krewitt, Coordinating Lead Author of the IPCC Special Report on Renewable Energies and Climate Change Mitigation (SRREN), passed away. The IPCC WG III would like to offer our deepest condolences to his family for this terrible loss. Wolfram was a talented, apt and dedicated member of the IPCC author team - his passing represents a deep loss for the international scientific communities working in climate and energy issues.
